Plain version: Brilla keeps almost nothing about you, and what it keeps stays on your phone.

What stays on your phone, only

Your Small Wins, the Words you save, and your Trusted Circle (the people you choose and their numbers) live on your device. We never see them. They're not sent to us, ever.

No account needed

You can use everything in Brilla without making an account or giving us your name, email, or phone number.

What we never do

• We don't show ads.
• We don't sell or share your data with anyone.
• We don't track you across other apps.
• We never contact anyone in your Trusted Circle on our own — only you can, by pressing send.
• We can't read what's saved in the app — it never leaves the phone. That privacy applies to everyone, including us.

Ages 13 and up

Brilla is for ages 13–19. The app asks for an age range at the start and doesn't allow use by children under 13 (in line with a U.S. law called COPPA). We don't collect personal information from anyone, at any age.

Deleting your data

In Settings, "Delete all my data" erases everything Brilla saved on your phone, instantly. There's nothing on our side to delete, because we don't keep it. (More: deleting your data.)

Crisis resources

Brilla shows the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and Crisis Text Line. When you tap one, your phone opens the call or text — we don't see it.
